The Village Hall Da Vinci Code

I had read about a set of mystical paintings (that hinted at a Da Vinci Code type mystery) that were housed in a village hall. After negotiating my way through streets, housing estates and allotments, i found the village hall. However when I got inside, I discovered that a troop of Brownies were performing a musical routine on the stage. They were obscuring the paintings that were on the wall behind. I tried looking around the Brownies to see the paintings, but in the end gave up, as I felt it would only draw attention to myself
